For almost 20 years, I have been a part of the Coquitlam Children’s Dentistry team as both a receptionist and a chairside assistant. Working strictly in pediatrics all these years has been wonderful to witness the growth and trust we gain from our patients with dentistry. It’s a great feeling when the kids leave the office with a confident smile. Our team is like a family and we all work together, drawing from each other's strengths to provide for all of our patients’ needs
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, going on hikes, and trying out new recipes.

I can be found at our front desk, where I answer phones, book and confirm appointments, and take care of accounts receivable. Our patients are so much fun; I look forward to the smiles and laughter they bring to each appointment, and I enjoy helping them and watching them grow up into healthy young adults. I also love the great group of people I get to work with each day. We’re really like a family here!
When I’m not with my “work family,” I love spending time with my two girls, reading, and trying out new baking recipes.

I have been working in dentistry since the 1980s. While I have worked in all aspects of dentistry, I enjoy pediatric dentistry the most. It’s so rewarding to help children have the very best experience possible. Watching our patients change as they grow up is such a joy, and one of the great benefits of working with children on a daily basis.
I am blessed with three adult children, two grandchildren who live in Alberta, and a cat named Lucy. I enjoy watching the Vancouver Canucks and gardening in my spare time.

I completed my CDA training at Vancouver Community College and joined Dr. Kim’s team in 2018. Working with kids is the best! It’s so rewarding to help kids to get comfortable and have a positive experience at the dental office, have fun visits, and teach proper oral hygiene. I also love working with Dr. Kim and the rest of our team because we all work together as one. Being a part of the team makes me feel like I found another family!
Outside of work, I like to explore local places to visit, coffee shop hopping and hiking. I also enjoy doing arts and crafts, baking and trying out recipes.

I graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at CDI College in 2020. My training allows me to provide many aspects of patient care, and I love all of it! I was very lucky to start my dental career with Dr. Kim and her team. They are ALL the nicest coworkers I ever met! They are honest and reliable people with an idealistic approach to work.
I’m very lucky to have my family, which consists of me, my husband, and our six kids. I love them all to the moon and back! I also have two little dogs in my house who are also a part of my family. We all love outdoor activities such as skiing, snowboarding, ATVing, and camping.

Dental Receptionist
I was a Certified Dental Assistant for about three years before becoming a dental receptionist, a role that I really enjoy. I am passionate about helping others and this job suits me well. I also like being organized—a must when handling parent inquiries and financial arrangements. Most of all, I enjoy seeing children feel comfortable at the dentist.
In my spare time, I love hanging out with my husband and our son, going for long walks, biking, playing card games, and cuddling.
